Industry 4.0 Architect Certification Programme

The “Industry 4.0 Architect” is specially designed for the digitalization leaders to learn how to strategically implement Industry 4.0 for a company, based on the Reference Architectural Model Industrie 4.0 (RAMI 4.0) from Germany. The course aims to enable them to plan a company digital transformation journey in a structured, affordable and sustainable manner, and learn how to effectively control of the entire value chain along the product lifecycle with digital data. The programme also aims to educate them on the use of relevant technologies that allow the lifecycle to orient itself by fulfilling the increased customer requirements, and to improve their business operations. The course content is developed based on 19 IEC/ISO/DIN Standards and 48 white papers, position paper, report etc. which are mainly published by the Plattform Industrie 4.0 and ZVEI, Germany.

Course Duration: 10 days, 10 modules + 1 Project

Upon the passing the course assessments, the participant will be awarded with the “Industry 4.0 Architect” certificate by Digital Connect Society.

Industry 4.0 Corporate Readiness

The corporate readiness to start the digital transformation.

This course aims to prepare a corporate to identity what it takes to be more financial sustainable. To enable the company to have successful digital transformation, it is important for them to plan how to offer convincing solutions to their customers, better control of supply and demand, how to have access to capital, and how to ensure their team has the ability and competencies to implement the transformation blueprint. Hence, the developing a robust cyber security strategic approach to cyber risks and threats is necessary and important. This course is designed to provide the CIO and information security team on the Standards and methodology to revamp the information management, how to overcome the challenges and identify the cyber security risks and threats if the company is decided to embrace Industry 4.0.

Productivity Assessment and Improvement

Technology enables lean manufacturing on maximizing productivity while minimizing waste, however it requires effective process reengineering and systems integration to fulfil the alignment of digital strategy and execution, instead of just having purely process automation. The learners would explore how to apply methods such as gap analysis and value stream mapping to improve the productivity. The participants would take home a productivity improvement methodology to identify which processes require digital transformation and prioritize them based on their value creation. Besides, they would learn how to set quantifiable metrics and KPIs for scaling justification and achieve the goals of digital transformation.

The course aims to educate the participants on how to plan a company digital transformation journey in a structured, affordable and sustainable manner, and learn how to effectively control of the entire value chain along the product lifecycle with digital data. The programme also aims to educate them on the use of relevant technologies that allow the lifecycle to orient itself by fulfilling the increased customer requirements, and to improve their business operations. The participants would learn how to identify relevant technologies, analyze the needs for new value stream and product lifecycle management in the supply chain and develop approach and digital transformation blueprint and roadmap for the company.
